I am debating the cost picture of blue boarding on my own and contracting out a veneer plaster job vs. having someone do the whole shebang. The job is the attic of my Midwest-style bungalow so I don’t feel it is overly complex with angles, high ceilings, etc. Can anyone offer comments on the 2 scenarios? Also, I have not noticed blue board for sale at my local Home Depot. Can some sort of ‘regular’ gypsum board be used or must I use blue board? Where can I get it?
