We are needing to purchase a vent hood insert for our kitchen. We are going to be just wrapping the insert with sheet rock and some simple trim around the bottom. We are going to have a 36” induction cooktop. From my reading I should be looking at a 42” hood and at least 600cfm. Any recommendations of exact models. I have looked at Vent a Hood and Fantech(with silencer and remote fan). We like the idea of a quiet hood but also want one that is functional.
