Hi. I have a customer who is interested in putting a bathroom in the basement of a job that I am currently working on. Should this happen I would use a Saniflo up-flow toilet. My question is this, in a basement, am I allowed to tie this macerating pump’s vent into the same line that vents the washing machine? Thank you.

My take is that unless the existing vent is 2" or larger I would not tie in but a good plumber will be able to tell you
Thank you bing...fortunately, I do have a 2" vent but I understand that this is not a "concrete" answer. Best.
