Hello,
I am selling my Veto Pro Pac. It simply isn’t everything that I hoped it would be.
It is in good shape, but does show typical wear for ten months of professional use.
I left it unzipped 95% of the time, so the zipped up pictures make it look really good.
The open (Unzipped) pictures are a more accurate portrayal. There is wear from sliding tools in and out of the pockets. There are no rips, tears, or snags. One zipper tang is bent. The shoulder strap broke a long time ago, so I pitched it. (It broke when I used it to restrain some sheet goods in the trailer, ratchet strap weren’t long enuff that day). There is evidence that it has been outside in the rain. Reference the tornado that hit Windsor, CO this year for more information. Sorry, when you get a call from you wife that she is in the basement waiting for a tornado, you leave the tools where they are and speed home. Tornado missed us, but we did get a heckuva hail/thunderstorm here.
These things get an A-plus for durability, but the pockets weren’t laid out in a way that was useful to me.
I would be willing to trade for an open top version in good shape. Other trades for tools would be considered.
Asking Price is $85.00 plus shipping.
Price will go down every week that it is unsold.
Thanks
David Franklin

I don't suppose you would be interested in a Roto-Zip?
Hardly used it at all, maybe three or four times.
Comes with the circle guide, angle grinder attachment, and flush cut
attachment. Oh yeah the router handle.
Some odd bits and a carry case.
If I didn't already have one, I'd prolly go for it.
Thanks
No problem
What would it cost to ship to 98250?
Shipping looks expensive, usps.com for 80524 to 98250 at 10lbs makes it about $25.00 parcel post. I had no idea shipping was so expensive. My wife does the ebay thing. I'll ask her bout it, but it'll be tomorrow for I can check.
Thanks
David
Ten months of use? That thing looks virgin, what do you do, tune pianos?
Mike
Looks virgin on the part that is folded up and buttoned when it sits open. It stayed open most of the time I had it. Kinda parta the reason I don't need it. Those flaps flapping all the time, getting caught on tools in the trailer, bumping into trim, makes me wish I got the Open Top model. The Flaps are nearly impossible to snap into open position, so when I gotem snapped, I left em that way.
The inside is not so pretty. I did vaccuum it before the pics.
I do any type of work I can get. Specializing in Door & Window Replacement. Have been Known to Frame, Trim, Cut Concrete, Patch Drywall, Finish Basements, paint whatever needs painted. Also install suspended ceilings, skylights, solatubes, build entertainment centers, clean gutters, Demo conc./steel stairs, replace with wood/trex deck. Replace damaged veneer stones, return hacked trusses to normal, then sheet em with OSB, and remodel a showroom for a popular light tube dealer. Underpinned a foundation last week, cutting egress windows into a basement this week. Would love to narrow my focus. Wouldn't have to carry so many different tools around.
Hey, You asked
DII
I have th CL I think, which is smaller. I like the flaps, as often the thing is getting pulled up by rope to the top of a concrete plant.
There is no perfect bag out there though.
MikeInsert initially amusing but ultimately annoying catch phrase here.
I switched to the open top version myself thinking I would love it - hated it. Just a few little pouches and pockets, everything else ends up in the bottom of the open compartment.
I switched back to my zippered version - which I leave unzipped 95% of the time, too.

So, a month later , is it still available, and what is the price?
Mike
heh heh
Junkman wants one.
be this I understand

Already have one. The CL, I think.

So do you think well enough of them to consider another one?
Always thought of getting one but never pulled the trigger.
Are they too heavy after loading?
rez, I have the large one-xxl maybe-original style-closed. I have mine filled with everything I might need. It is heavy, but the odd thing-the carrying handle is so......ergonomic......it honestly carries lighter. I'm not illiterate however and I'll load down to another empty bag for some small punch work job. But on an all day remodel-gladly carry it in.........and out. Might get the midnite call and couldn't leave it overnite.A Great Place for Information, Comraderie, and a Sucker Punch.

Rez,
I've got two - the XL zipper job and an open XL.
What a treat to not have to rummage thru a satchel.
I remember JohnSvenson, the real one, winning a VetoPac at the RiverFest.
Wonder how he likes it.
Anyone know his BT handle?
This one took a little time. Every time he takes a break he comes back as someone else.
Svenny

Heres my pair . I just snapped a pic while I was out grilling a steak.
Maybe i'll send Veto a pic and try for their ads I've seen in FHB.

What?! They come in colors too?
Oops,
I forgot about the ad. A well known breaktimer made the first best offer, and has been enjoying it (I hope) for some time now.
In other words, it is sold.
Thanks to all.
