Can vinyl siding be recycled? Or is it off to the land fill it goes. OR if it is removed carefully could somebody reuse it on another structure?

In theory, yes. In practice, no, unless you know someone who wants the stuff for a shed or whatever.
My neighboor saw me tearing the vinyl off my house and told me to recycle it. He claimed he had just taken a couple of bundles to the scrap yard and they sure enough took it. I havn't been able to confirm his claim. I hope they do recycle it though...maybe it would actually look good in another life.
