Wall mount toilet installation.
I have two older Kohler wall mount toilets, (late 60’s from the colors)with round bowls I want to replace with Kohler Wellesleys with elongated bowls.
I have the two toilets, but haven’t done wall mounts before, and need advice on installing them.
From what I have been able to find for instructions. I gather that I install the backer nuts, so that the bottom two are true to the wall, and the one on either of the uppers is plumb to the bottom. Then, I install the ring and toilet, and tighten the three nuts with backers on until they are finger tight, plus a 1/2 turn, and then run the fourth nut on finger tight.
Am I understanding this correctly?

can another bump help???Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->

Is there a plumber in the house?
Looks like it's a no show here at Breaktime regarding your question.
If you were to Google 'plumbing forum toilets' you will receive a number of various forum links that are more specifically geared toward the info you request.
Cheers.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Installed a wall mount about 6 weeks ago, the instruction that came with it were very similiar to the description you gave.
I believe they said tighten the bottom two first, I kinda went by the way they felt to me.
Then tighten the upper nut that has a backer nut behind it .
The fourth nut was to be run up until just snug.
Wax seals are a no no on wallmounts use the foam kind , some come with an adhessive.
Someone to help hold it in place while you tighten is very helpful.
