I have two jobs coming up where this is a ton of wallpaper to be removed. Anyone have any suggestions on method and or machine. Paper tiger and scraper is not what I hope to be doing.

I've done entire planets worth of removal and always found that really warm water in some Diff paper remover worked as good as it can get.
Never liked the paper tiger at all. On the vinyl paper I always found I could peel the top/vinyl right off dry then use the liquid in a garden sprayer on the paper under the vinyl. You have to be patient and let the liquid do the work. DO NOT rush it.
On rare occasions you end up diging into the drywall which can be a nightmare. I found its usually in a bathroom and almost always when the walls werent primed correctly. Steaming it works pretty well on that but I try and stay away from the hassles of rentals when it comes to paper.
Just be persistant and have some good tunes around.
Its borrrrinnnngggg work!!!
BE well

soak it... I use Fabric Softener with hot water... and then spray it. Just keep spraying it... let the hot water and the softener work for you. Only use the paper tiger if the water isnt getting behind the paper.
Like Andy I use hot water and diff... The paper tiger is a waste of money and causes more damage then it's worth IMO.
There is no fast and quick method short of removing the wall covering and re-sheetrocking the room.
Mix the Diff a little stronger then they suggest, if it is vinyl peal the face off. Use a garden sprayer to apply it. Do not use the Gel Diff it doesn't work as well in my experience.
Soak it and let it sit for 10 minutes, then soak it and let it sit another 10 minutes. Soak it one more time and start pealing it off. I've found a plastic 6" drywall knife to work the best. Sand the edges over before you start and you will not tear or dig into the drywall nearly as much. Make sure you have plastic covering the flooring, it get's messy and the plastic makes for easy clean up. I usually have a 5 gallon bucket in hand to put the wall paper in then transfer it to a trash bag as it fills up.
The biggest trick to all of it is keeping it wet.
Once you have the paper off and mostly clean, mix up some Diff in a bucket and wash the walls to make sure you removed all of the glue residue, it might take a few times.
Good advise, CAGIV, and don't forget to wash the walls with the dif solution followed by a rinse with warm water, that paste residue has to come off. If you are painting the walls, prime with a OIL BASE primer, it is a must. The paste remaining will raise havoc with paint adhesion if you don't use oil. You could also try Gardz from Zinnser. It also seals the wall, but, is twice the cost of KILZ.
Where I have had wallpaper that the top layer strips off then I have not had to do anything to get the rest off.Just wet it with hot water and in about 5 minutes scrapping it off in big sheets. Now where I can't get the top layer stripped that is a much different case.
