So how do you warranty any kind of remodeling work when the folks you did the work for sell the house?
Do you still have the same warranty for the new owners? If so, what are the terms?
I know it sems straightforward that the owner shouldn’t matter but just curious on how you guys handle it.

Seems to me that warranty has to do with making good on any errors or omissions in your original work. In that spirit, I don't care if a there's a new owner; either the warranty claim is justified or it is not.
Taking care of a justifiable warranty issue for new owners may make a good impression on them and get me further work or referrals at some point.
Indiana state law says that all home warranties transfer to subsequent owners of the property as long as the warranties are in effect:
2 years on all labor and material
4 years on all labor and material for the roof
10 years on structural defects
