I have an AO Smith promax 75gal water heater which keeps going off into vacation mode over and over again what can I do to make it stop doing that…..its killing me!

The control board is likely bad. Go to the AO Smith website and contact them directly for a replacement (likely under warranty).
A La Carte Government funding... the real democracy.
We have used a bunch of these in recent times, and they are TROUBLE. Not sure what type you have, but ours our natural gas power vent. Multiple problems, like the flammable vapor sensor, igniter, etc. Their helpline must be ringing off the hook.
Makes you wonder if they never tested them
or
changed a part vendor to "save money"
