Water stains on unfinished cedar

I would like to remove some water stains, from a previous roof leak,  on an unfinished cedar ceiling. Has anyone had any success besides replacing the individual boards? Thank you

    Oxalic acid. You’ll need to bleach all the wood and then rinse it.

      Thank you for your suggestion. I had not thought of using oxalic acid. I will try it out.
