I am building a house and the poured foundation walls were sprayed with waterproofing. A 40-50 sq.ft. section was poured later, and I would like to waterproof that also. It is kind of a small area for the waterproofing sub to come back for. How might I waterproof this small area – what material to use?

Sprayed waterproofing hmmm.. Would that be like tar i.e. black and gooey. That more like damproofing.
Rubber membrane mebbee.
No idea about the soils you encounter in Conn. If sandy good, if clay not so good.
Ever hear of Delta MS. Try google. Awesome for problematic soils. Positive drainage.

Thanks. You are probably right - damp-proofing.
First butter the form tie holes over with hydraulic mud or a very rich mix of mortar. work it smooth. Then you get a five gallon bucket of foundation coating, available at just about any lumberyard, even the big box stores, a roller with long handle, and your very worst clothing. Crawl down in the excavation and start making a glorious mess. It will be easier if you warm the bucket of coating first, by leaving it inside in a warm spot over nite. And sweep the sand/grit/dirt off the wall first.
