Part of my basement is underground. Finally I have starting to see a little moisture and thought about waterproofing it. I use it as a shop, so I don’t have to worry about sheetrock and alike. Also I don’t want to dig up the front to rewaterproof.
My question is: is it better to use a waterproof stucco or use the waterproof paint that you can find at Home Depot or Lowe’s?
Comments, opinions, or your experience is appreciated.

Using a waterproof stucco offers better long term protection and durability compared to waterproof paint. Waterproof stucco can provide a more comprehensive barrier against moisture, while waterproof paint is easier to apply and cheaper but may need reapplication over time. Consider your budget and long term needs before deciding.
Did you look at the date on the question?
Why not?
