Hey guys,
I checked the archives, but got nothing on Weathershield windows. Anybody have any experience with this product?
Thanks.

I have them in my house. After 15 years I can say never once have I changed my opinion of them.
They are garbage... Fogged glass and no repair parts available. Their 20 year warrenty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
I have them in my home since 1987. Glass fogs up, balances sometimes work. Come out pretty easy, can be a challenge to re install.
Have installed new ones in the last two years. Glass fogs, challenge to install, legs are different lengths occasionally. I think we had issues nailing bottom flange. Customer service after the install -non existent. Complicated set ups will disappoint you.Don't bother thinking grills will line up from the factory on complicated setups -they won't. Double doors (especially narrow ones) will require all your patience, and you will have to be satisfied with an install you don't want to own up to.
For the money they get for them and the lack of service, I'd look else where.

they suck - run away!
I have hearedd a lot of negatives about them, and my main supplier will only order them if I hold a gun to their head (which tells me they know something) but I have used them three times and have them in my house with never a problem.
Makes me wonder if I live a charmed live.
