Looking to lift a framed and sheathed wall with wall jacks and need to determine the weight. I can calculate the approximate weight of the wall but it seems to me when the wall is being lift the weight is 50% on the jacks and 50% on the foundation. Eventually all the weight is on the foundation. Am I missing something? Thanks

You are correct with 1/2 the weight on the foundation. I bought some cheap jacks off amazon that claim to have 1,000lb capacity each. The issue tends to be more with the length of the wall and the number of lift points. The longest wall I lifted was 24' x 12' tall. One jack was enough for capacity but you need two jacks for stability.
