Would get lost in the ‘shed, and some fascinating photos:
So convenient a thing it is to be a reasonable Creature, since it enables one to find or make a Reason for everything one has a mind to do. –Benjamin Franklin

I happened to be working at Argonne Labs after "the Hunt for Red October was out, in the building where an experiment in "Magnetohydrodynamics" was done.
the Physicist there explained how their budget increased dramatically after the movie opened,
but they were able to generate only 7 HP with the equipment...which was about the size of a semi trailer . The "drive" was eventually cut up for scrap...
can't have million $$$ parts just laying around, someone might start asking questions I guess

Very cool site. I'm surprised they don't declare the guy illegal......but then it is the land down-under.
Back in the 90's there was a surf band called "Man or Astroman?". Their schtick was was science/science fiction. Amongst many other stage props, they used to play stock NASA footage of the Saturn missions and whatnot-always pre space shuttle as well as old 1950's era highs school physics movie ("Meet Mr. Atom") LASt time I saw them, for the encore, they cleared a spot on the floor, rolled a robot that was actually a tesla coil (they made it themselves) which shot out 4 foot bolts of blue lightning. One of the most entertaining bands I ever saw.
Cool. I love to see things blown to smithereens.
