Wet Cellar Questions
I’ve had my stone cellar sandblasted and repaired some minor water leaks with hydraulic cement. On the outside I’m in the process of making sure the land is pitched away from the house. During heavy rains, I still have water although not too bad.
A friend has suggested troweling, wiht cement , the walls completely which worked for him. I’d appreciate any comments and would like to know if I should use hydraulic cement to cover the walls.
thanks for your comments !!

To be effective, the waterproofing needs to be on the outside. You might consider digging a trench around the foundation and installing a drainage system, and waterproof down at least as far as the drain pipes.
Do it right, or do it twice.
