Make that advice.
I need to construct a temporary covered structure. Looking for ideas on most cost effective design concept. Assuming stock components needed for approx 3yr. length 100′ width approx 30′ more or less (towards upper limit of stock truss). Requirement for additional sqft is possible/likely by adding a 15′ bay to the side. At end of use dismantle/tear down and sell off/recycle components as possible. Location in NE Iowa significant snowload. Winduplift a consideration.
What you all think? Truss, screwed plywood or OSB, shingle or roll goods? Truss, purlin, sheet metal or fiberglass or _________. Other concept? Most cost effective roof pitch?
Posts/beams or stud wall to support roof structure? Interior overhead height is important: use scissors truss or taller side walls to maximize overhead? No sheathing planned for sides, just roof. Design plan for potential addition of side bay?
There are no code/zoning restrictions. Just common sense/prudence.

I was checking out some of those temporary cover it tarp type structures once and the salesman told me that they could make one almost any size and shape you wanted. Don't remember the brand name but a boatyard here had one for a few years that was about 28'W x 28'H x 60'L
