What far apart should I space my 6″x6″ posts for my gazebo/shed?

I plan on building a “gazebo” out of some trusses i have kicking around. My trusses are 28′ span w/ 2′ eves. I have 13 of them. So my building will be 26’x28′. I plan to finish the roof with steel. My question is my “walls” will be vertical 6″x6″x8′ timbers. To adequately support the roof structure and to address wind loads, how far apart should my timbers be? I have a lot to quantity isn’t too much of an issue.
I plan on using the structure in the summer as a gazebo/bbq pit/fish cleaning/beer drinking gazebo shelter thing and park my boat under it in the winter.
I’m new to this type of building but not building itself!! Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. 🙂

how far?
Tbat is an engineering decision that depends of the live loading required in your area ( where are you?) and the size of the header timbers
gazebo/shed
Yeah, like piffin said plus lateral and uplifting forces. These can be more difficult that plain ole downward loads/forces to deal with. Remember what happened to the little pigs house.
What centers are ya gonna put the trusses on?
Did we establish that the posts should be at least 5.5" apart?
