I recently purchased lumber from a local yard that has an S-Dry stamp on it. I was invoiced for kiln dried lumber. I always thought s-dry meant stack dry. The yard told me it was the same thing. did i get a lower grade lumber and what is the difference between s-dry and kiln dry?
