The first video.
I don’t post here much, just read mostly. BTW, thanks for those that do post, I really enjoy reading and seeing what people are doing.
I was reading on the Fine Home Building blogs and it talked about a new product from Icynene that is made with castor oil instead of petroleum products. So, I head on over to their website hoping to find something about it. I end up in video section, and I see this. It left me with a puzzled look. Am I missing something, doesn’t really seem like the best video to have plastered on their site.

Are you talking about this one?

I didn't see anything other than the general marketing hype and that was not very strong.

Yup, what about the guy decked out in full coveralls with the respirator, and the other guy coming right behind him sawing off the excess wearing....nothing!
Isn't there a couple days before you can even enter the home after spray foam has been applied?

Because it is only the raw, unreacted materials that are a problem. That is SOP..

Ok, I'll take your word for it, just seemed real odd to me that the installer is decked out in safety gear, and the guy coming behind him isn't. I don't understand how that 2-3 ft buffer safeguards him.
After working with cars, chainsaws, and any other number of tools I always try to err on the side of safety.
