Makita Cordless Impact Driver. WOW! Like the FH article said, I’ll never go back to a regular screwgun. No tork on the wrist, lightweight and I got it on sale for $159 cause the local hardware couldn’t sell them. “No-one knows what they are”.

Picked up a Bosch power plane....for the current cabinet install job..as the walls were 1/4" too tight.........but....got the uppers in by cutting the drywall open at the corners.........will keep the plane onsite to scare the base cab's into place.
After they fit like a glove.....I'll have to come up with another excuse to not return it!

They're great, but don't give up on your cordless screwgun. The impact driver isn't much help with ordinary drillbits.
I bought a set of 29 Chinese drill bits with 3/8 turned down shanks from Harbor Freight for $9.99 against my better senses. They look just like the good ones.
Are they tho'? Let the thunder crack and the waves roar.
We're going on.
"Are they tho'?"
Likely not.
Aren't these drills amazing I no longer pre drill and it can counter sink to. I put in lag screws and I can back out stripped screws easily with a craftsman screw-out.My mechanic uses one instead of air ratchet. Be careful with which hex head shanks you use because they can get stuck.
