The only way to find the market price for your knowledge and skills is to put them on the market. “Fair” is not a very useful concept, IMO.
Paying you half of what he charges the customers doesn’t strike me as outlandish. If you were working solo, you’d certainly have to charge more than $30/hr to cover your overhead.

Your boss billing you out at 2x your pay sounds about right. Unless you are in a very high cost of living area, I think you are doing well, especially since you describe your self as a "young guy". You do need to answer Andy's question about benefits though to give us a bit more accurate picture. BTW - I would guess that most people in your type of position would not get paid overtime, but rather be on salary.
Still not convinced? Maybe ask the boss man about some kind of profit sharing arrangement, or small percentage, although, this would about guarantee you to be in a salaried position.
As far as not having a raise in a year and a half, well, welcome to life... This also may be effected by the business environment your company is working in.
I`m with Uncle on this....the only way to find out what you`re worth is to interview for a similar position with other outfits. Keep in mind though, although others may offer better pay, you might already benefit from job security.....how important is that in your decision?

Good replies from all (even Buck) but somebody scared sunny off. He even deleted his original post. What did he want?
He makes $30/hr, time and a half for over time. His boss bills him out at $60/hr, $80 for overtime. He wanted to know if he's being taken advantage of.
I forgot what he said he does.
maybe he wanted to protect hisass from his boss.
Including overtime you gross $72K/ year. Not bad for a young guy.
If you don't think it's good enough stop your whining and shop yourself around. Welcome to the world of high finance!
As the others have asked, we need more info if you want an informed answer. If not, how about this - YES! NO! MAYBE! IT DEPENDS!
So, what else do you get and what else do you do? Do you get a vehicle or have to use your own? Milage?
Vacation days, Sick days, Personal days?
Medical - single or family plan?
Bonus(es)?
Are the 8 hrs OT on Sat and Sun or evenly spread throughout the week?

While it all depends on what region of the country you are in I think $30.00 per hour for a young (in your twenties, early thirties?) designer and PM is pretty damn good money and I'm in the high priced Westchester county NY. Your not a licensed architect or interior designer I assume? As for the sixty dollars you boss is billing you out as he is certainly in my mind not charging enough to cover his costs. If you were working for me at $30.00 per hour I have to be billing you out at $74.50 before I could even start to make money on you.
Sunny there nothing wrong with wanting more compensation but just what do you think warrants it? I certainly don't know your actual circumstances nor your skills but maybe, just maybe when you were hired he paid you more than you were worth when you were just getting into the swing of things??? He is certainly not billing enough for your services to his clients so maybe that's in the equation there somewhere too.
Like Jayird says "the only way to find out what you`re worth is to interview for a similar position with other outfits." but I think you'll probably find if you really only have a few years of experience your right about where you should be. What kind of formal design training have you had? What about project management training too? I had a young guy (30) tell me he was a PM the other week and he didn't even know what the terms critical path or float really meant.
