Where to purchase VIG units for residential steel casement windows

VIG units like Pilkington spacia or similar look like a great investment for anyone wanting to keep their original single pane window frames. Is there a problem with residential sale in the US? It looks like they’ve been around a few years now for commercial replacement.

I need 16 units @ 12″x 10″ to test our front window and another possible 320 units. Are they in the same price range as double pane IGU with low-e coating? Can they be ordered online? How long do they hold a vacuum?
