Which Wall Sheathing Option Provides More Strength?

I would like to know the strength difference between 3/4” plywood sheathing vs. 1×6′ traditional plank sheathing at a 45 degree angle to the studs before the creation of plywood. I may consider plank sheathing for subfloor construction, but never for wall sheathing. Thanks
