I am a contractor who is in the planning stages of my own house. As a contractor, I have seen a lot of different materials used which make the choices on my own house even more difficult. I am looking for the opinons of some other contractors out there as to what they have used and liked. I live in CT and will not be on the coast. So here is the question, which windows and door s would you use in your own house. I can say that lately I have been very unhappy with Therma-Tru doors. And I have also started to notice more and more problems with Andersons lately. I think they are getting sloppy with there factory mulls, and it seems as though if parts are missing from the order(which is more and more lately) it takes forever to get them in. Just want to get some feedback from others out there and see what is what. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
