Would you recomend purchasing hardwood flooring over the web? 

I have some questions about prefinished hardwood, engineered, and laminate flooring and could use some help.

I am trying to decide what type of product to use on the 2nd floor of my home. I have it down to two manufacturers. Mirage and Karhs.

Mirage has the prefinished hardwood (3/4″ birch or maple) and the engineered prefinished hardwood flooring which can be glued or nailed.

Karhs has both engineered and laminated flooring. I understand that Karhs is coming out with a snap-lock prefinished engineered flooring that is some 9/16″ thick.

Has anyone used any of these products and can tell me about the quality, price and installation? I’m hoping to heat the rooms with RADIANT heat instaled between the sub and finished floors. Does the type of heating make a difference in the type of product I should install?
