I have an outside staircase in cinderblock and a storage area with a small roof that needs to be rebuilt. I have tried calling general contractors, masons etc from www.thebluebook.com Either they do not respond to my messages or, when they do respond and I describe the job to them, they never follow up on that. I would estimate that it would take maybe 3-4 days for professionals to do the job so it’s not the most lucrative. I may be seeking the wrong people. I’m located in Jersey City – what should I do?
