Why not Cordless hammer drill in Europe? Any defects or other reasons?

I’d like to buy a cordless hammer drill. When searching information for that, I only find that cordless hammer drill doesn’t sell well in Europe. I’m really wondering why they don’t prefer cordless hammer drill. Is it because cordless hammer drill has any defect or it’s not fit for European home features? I’m really a green bird in homeimprovement, and this information confuses me. Please help to answer, so that I can convince myself to buy a proper tool

    Likely it's hard to get one through RoHS, running up the cost.  That and rock tends to be harder in Europe.
