To prevent moisture buildup and improve performance, install a continuous air barrier—such as drywall or specialized membranes—under tongue-and-groove boards or other interior wall paneling.

Termites can be / should be treated, but water or moisture can wick up into the bottom of the plywood at the base of the wall.
We usually only use a rip of TR plywood at the bottom of the wall 12" - 24". This works especially good with walls over 8'. We sheath the upper portion of the wall with regular plywood or OSB.
For added protection install 18" wide poly at the bottom of the framed wall about 8" up on the wall prior to sheathing, after the plywood is installed we wrap the poly up the wall on the outside prior to Tyvek.
