I’m considering installing wide plank flooring from Homerwood in my house. I’m looking for the rustic wide plank look and would rather use solid wood instead of engineered. I’ve looked at all the top name brands and Homerwood looks as close to an unfinished installation that was hand done than all the others. I would like to use 5 inch flooring but I’m a little concerned about problems associated with it like cupping and expansion. Can anyone share any experience they had with wide plank flooring and what I could expect down the road? I was also thinking I should back down to 4 inch wide which will be more stable but niot exactly what I want.
Any advice is greatly appreciate from you experts out there
Joe
