Is there a guideline or installation manual for installing wide plank hardwood flooring (7 “) over a plywood subfloor.
The one catch is the boards do not have tongue and groove joints on the ends. Only on the sides.
Should the boards be fully adhered and nailed down? or is that overkill?
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Might want to catch this recent thread:

And a question-new material? if so, manufacturer?
if not, where'd you get this?
thanks.
Manufacturer should have the guidelines for you
I would only lay it that wide one of two ways:
Screw and bung or fully adhered.
Butt joints you can use a biscuit too.
I also generealy seal the backs of flooring that wide. Last week I was doing repairs to a wide oak floor that was working itself up
