Oooooo leeks. There's a great recipe for Baked potato & leek soup in one of the FC mags. I "think" it made it into the Tried & True thread on Cooks Talk. Baked potato, leeks, sour cream, bacon...very tasty.Why oh why does direct deposit decide to go wrong RIGHT before the holidays?

OK spill it. What's the sauce on the leeks? And what's on the upper portion of the plate?Now I'm hungry. sigh1 out of 2 meeces dead. YAH! Dogs still useless. I'm really tempted to check out fingerprint powder for mice prints.
Sauce is fresh grated ginger and orange. Broiled mushrooms up top.

Kinda wondering about that title. Thought she might be pregnant and you had pics of the leakers. Those are some nice big leaks though.
The vegetable market here just had big leeks, 2 for a dollar. I ended up makinga leek and portabella mushroom risotto. The leeks didn't really stand out in it, but it was good eatin anyway.
