I own a Williams and Hussey Molding maker and saw a couple of years back…….I think in Fine Home Building, an ad for a machine that made cutting blades that cost about $600 I think. Haven’t seen that ad in a long time and was wondering if anyone owned one and how they worked. If they are any good I’d love the number to purchase one as I just got a job that will require about a dozen different cutting blades.

I'm following this thread because at that price, it wouldn't take long to pay for itself.
*Piffin, Someone E mailed me and said they'll send me the address of that molding cutter grinding machine next week. Said theres a real informative video on it for ten bucks as well. As soon as I get it I'll post it
*Thanks, I've spent more on blades than on the machine - not that it was unexpected. Same happens with routers and shapers. Retailers carry some tools at cost because they know that the real money is in accessories. Just like some women, they come cheap but the upkeep is expensive.
*Piffin: I bought a Williams & Hussey WS7 right when they changed the color from grey to red. Nice machine, and I know someone who has the knife grinder you are talking about. It works real nice as he has ground all kinds of knifes for it.
*i think this is the little grinder youre refering to:Viel tools inc.po box 660madawaska me047561.800.915.2601
