Hi everyone, I’m currently getting quotes from multiple builders on our new construction home and everyone obviously uses different windows. I have been given quotes with Anderson 400, Marvin Essential, Marvin Elevate, Pella Impervia, and WeatherShield Vue. We had a terrible experience with Anderson in our first home with constant condensation and upgraded to Marvin Elevate in the home we just sold (we live in the Midwest). We loved the fiberglass exterior and the window was phenomenal. We’re not a fan of Anderson’s material, and I honestly do not know anything about WeatherShield, except that it’s all aluminum. The 2 builders who are giving Anderson 400 will not use anything else which might be a deal breaker for me since I want them to price out other brands. I know Marvin is the most expensive but the quality is phenomenal. As stated I do not know much about WeatherShield and I constantly hear that Pella can be 50/50. Which window would be best in everyone’s opinion? Thank you everyone!

Marvin Elevate is a great choice, especially for Midwest climates, due to its durable fiberglass exterior and quality performance. If budget allows, Marvin Essential is also solid. WeatherShield’s all-aluminum design may not insulate as well.
