Windsor One for Facias & Soffits?

I am replacing rotted facias & soffits. The wooden gutters had a piece of trim added were there should have been a space for the water to run behind. The home is High end so I want to use something like windsor one instead of primed pine. So I started some of the repairs with the windsor one and after a rainy night the surface seemed to show some signs of potential problems on the boards laid on saw horses. Another contracter at the yard I use said he uses it a lot for exterior trim, BUT the sales guy’s say there have been some problems using it for exterior trim. I live in MA so the weather can vary a lot. Dose anyone have some oppinions on it. I don’t want to continue using it until I feel confident it will hold up.
THANKS
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Only used it once so far and that was beveled t/g siding. On a few of the pcs. we noticed the glue lines from the laminations had telescoped and slightly puckered the primer. We were glad it was a protected porch cieling after that.
I framed in a development for two years where all the exterior trim was Windsor One. (Also MA) I never noticed any problems with it after it was installed, but it pretty much acted like typical FJ stock before installation. If you picked up a soggy stick, there was a good chance it'd break off at the finger joint.
I do know of several yards in my area where it's the only pp pine they sell. So I ASSume (we all know where what that can mean) it's good to go as exterior trim. Been wrong before though. ;) What's their website say?
Thanks for the info. mine also looked like it was starting to pucker. I ASSUME you mean western MA, west of 128 lol. Framingham? I think I will stick with it. The web site say's 10yrs on the joints & 5 on the primer. Will they cover my labor? lol
I like it cause its clean ,straight, primed etc. but I wouldnt use it where its gonna get much water. Its still soft pine or spruce and I dont trust the finger joints.Im using alot of pvc these days.Expensive but lasts forever and dosent even need paint. If you have to use wood ; I think oil primed yellow pine would be an economical choice.Make sure you pick the boards yourself and backprime and prime all cut ends.
