This has been the coldest winter we have had in Maine in recent memory. During January we had only one day that was over 32 degrees. There was a two week stretch that I dont think we even saw 10 degrees. Then in February every weekend we would get a mix of snow/rain so we had to shovel 2+ inches of ice off the second floor deck. Mother nature can be a really bitch sometimes.
I usaully prefer colder temps than the heat of the summer. But I am really looking forward to this summer.

You think it has anything to do with global warming?
No Rez,
Global warming is out, now its El Nino, or his younger but ever powerful step sister El Nina. :PView ImageGo Jayhawks
Sounds more like it would be from El Pauncho down on the Rauncho getting even for not making more than 20 dollars a day.
Maybe when he finally finds Miss Lucy everything will be normal again.
Whatever happened to the good old days when they just called it a mild winter and a bad winter? Now every winter has to blamed on something with a Mexican name, or tied to an aerosol can being used outside. You miss 100% of the shots you never take." Wayne Greztky

Things are different everywhere. It was in the 70's in So Colorado yesterday and today. I'd be glad to see another month of our type winter, but we only get a few days a year when it doesn't get above freezing and a only a few nights every year or two below zero. That said, I used to live in Montana and remember wishing for warmer weather!
