It doesn’t look like the question has been asked for a while…given the advances in technology, is anyone aware of a winter weather work glove that works and isn’t electric?

I haven’t done any recent research, but I cut my firewood out in my woods during winter here in Vermont, so warm gloves are important. There’s a trade-off of warm vs usability, wear a pair of super-insulated ski type gloves and I can’t fit my hand into the chain saw’s handle, wear a pair of hardware store insulated gloves and my hands are cold below 15 degrees. I’ve settled on Kinco insulated winter gloves, and when I 1st go outside if it’s 15 degrees or colder I put in hand warmers to use for the 1st 20-30 minutes. After that the gloves alone keep my hands warm (if I keep working). If I slow down for a bit or take a break for a few minutes I pull the still-hot hand warmers out of my pocket and wear them again.
Thanks
You might give silk liners inside your work gloves a try .
Zippo makes a good hand warmer. Not the old style using fluid, these are rechargeable. In your jacket pocket or on a lanyard. Sometimes the activity is almost enough, the warmer is there for the rewarm.
I thought you were joking when I read Zippo, thinking it couldn't possibly be the same company. But sure enough. Looks like they're pretty affordable too and can charge devices through the USB ports. Pretty cool.
Me, joke?
On occasion.
But, the hand warmers I think are worth it. Look for their sales and/or free shipping.
And.
If you get the chance, visit the Zippo plant in Bradford, Pa.
