Guys I started doing a floor refinishing job. the floor was covered in carpet. I just ripped off the carpet and noticed that the padding was applied with an adhesive of some sort(dont know what kind but i assume its a typical adhesive used for that type of installation?) whats the best way to remove it. I was thinking of mineral spirits but that might lead to other problems. Its got me scratching my head (not unusual).
