I no longer need my Hard Wood Nailer, it is one
of them you hit with a small sledge hammer.
Drives and sets the nail.
Will sell cheap, any offers?

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Porta-Nailer....like the one they
show in the "Tool Crib" catalog...if you don't have that catalog...you might be able to see
it at their web site http://www.amazon.com/toolcrib
It works fine , all the pieces are their.....I used it on two jobs, then I decided to sub out the wood floors to a guy I know and haven't used it since.
Where are you located?
Eastern Iowa.....
I checked the Tool Crib website, but couldn't quite figure out which one it was. Do you have a model #?
Ditto on the model number request. I assume this is an air powered nailer.
Sorry guys, I keep forgetting you young whipper snappers use all them fancy tools...no this is the human powered model. If you have the Apr 2003 issue it is on page 103.
model 402P
See that guy swinging the hand sledge, looks like he's about to knock a toe nail off, just kidding, been injured by tools but have never hit my toe with anything I was swinging, saw my Pappy do that once when I was around 10, and took note!
The guy that I sub my hardwood floors out to already has one of these, but most of the time he uses his air compressor model, said once his compressor broke and he got the good old Porta-Nailer out of the truck and finished nailing down the floor.
cuyahoga,
I've used that same Porta nailer for years. My lumber yard lends it to me as a courtesy when I buy flooring from them. Now I'm getting flooring from other sources so maybe could use this. How much do you want?
