I own a 1920s Craftsman-style house in western Washington where it rains a lot. The house still has the original wooden gutters, which I would like to preserve and maintain because they add character to the house. The gutters have started to leak at some of the seams where two pieces join. I would love some advice on how to seal the leaks, and generally what I should do to preserve the gutters (beyond regular cleaning, which I do).
