Anyone ever fill screw holes in PT with plugs?
Thought it would look nice to fill the screw holes with plugs drilled from scrap PT.
Just wonder how the drying and shrinking of PT would affect the plugs over time.

No I have never tryed it, I think you are on the right track thinking about the shrinkage problem. PT is never going to look like a peice of furniture anyway, to much work and bother for the final result

I have and they've held up well. Used a Lee Valley pug cutter and type 3 glue.
There is competition for the Lee Valley from Woodworkers that claims their stainless cutter is a better choice. Don't know how it cuts but I can tell you the LV rusts readily and with the PT chemicals and general wetness SS would be worth a consideration.

Yeah, I doubt the plugs would stay put. Probably not worth it. Here's another idea: I've used the double-threaded square drive screws designed for composite decking on PT decking, and they work pretty good. The head is a little bit nicer than the head of a regular deck screw and there are more color options.
