I would like to add wood flooring and stairs over an existing covered cement slab (front porch) to hide the unsightly cement look. For the flooring I was thinking of attaching pressure treated strips (1X4s or slightly thinner), then attaching a subfloor, then add T&G boards for the floor and paint/pressure treat. Something similar for the stairs. Does this sound reasonable? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Initially I wouldn't advise the plan to a customer. The sleepers aren't beefy enough to fasten anything to and to hold up in the weather. I've never recommomended a subfloor/T&G sandwich. The system would be prone to moisture/mold/rot. Honestly my humble opinion.
*If the concrete is in good shape and you are just after a new appearance - use it as a base to apply some tile or slate or pavers. There are plenty of exterior products to use.Terry
*My front porch/deck was built that way. We had no idea there was a full concrete slab until we began to take up decking to replace. There was a thick plastic layer over the concrete as well, and since the concrete was sloped to drain water toward the house, we also had a lake of sludge, mold, etc., under the deck boards, and we found that was one of the serious contributors to our wet basement.
