Hello Everyone,

I’m trying to find parts to repair a customer’s porch railing.  It was only built about nine years ago but they used unprotected poplar buried in the dirt and it’s fully rotted through.  Surprisingly, the handrail and some of the ballusters didn’t fare much better.  I’m open to different woods and have already tried, unsuccessfully (but I don’t blame them), pitching a full aluminum or vinyl rail system if the wood parts aren’t available.

This was probably standard stuff until recently when vinyl and aluminum moved in on the railing market.
