I’m considering using galvanized staples in an airgun to install wood shingles on the exterior walls of an old house. Has anyone had a good/bad experience with this method? Thanks.

Electro galv. is most likley what you will be shooting out of that gun. Will your nails be exposed? Will the shakes be treated? I have installed many jobs in this mannner with my bostich n-64 with both electro galv. and stainless steel. We blind nail all shakes so most of the time the electro galv. are fine. Sometimes I use the stainless .
