Anyone have any recommendations to stop woodpeckers drilling holes in your siding? I’ve always had to deal with a few holes in the cedar shingle siding of my house in past years, but this year I must have had 50 holes or more–some as wide and deep as 1-1/2 inches! Thanks for any suggestions.

I gave up and resided with HardiPlank. They haven't been able to defeat that
My parents have been hanging shiny foil strips on their house to drive away woodpeckers. Could try it if you don't mind your house looking silly but I don't know if it's working for them.
