I moved to Chicago about four weeks ago to work as an intern at Emmaus Ministries.  I was making twenty dollars a week, but room and board, travel expenses, and health insurance were provided.  I developed a romantic interest in another intern here, and due to the rules, we could not both work here.  I wanted to get back into construction eventually anyway, so we decided that I would leave.  I worked for about two and a half years in St. Louis doing a little bit of everything with Schei Construction.  I have a lot of basic skills, but really want to learn more.  I work hard, and am willing to do whatever is asked of me.  I can make a one year commitment for sure, and intend on staying and working in Chicago for a number of years.  If you have any questions, or want refrences,  write me back.  Thanks.
