   Andy,

   Age has something to do with the "oomph" required to hang drywall, but I was really thinking more of roofing... I get tired just thinking of carrying 3-tabbers up a ladder.  Well, maybe not so much tired as bored.  I like what it does for the body, but my brain has slowly been turning to mush. 

   And no, unfortunately, Fresno is about a 5? hour drive from Sebastopol.  If I remember right, Sebastopol is tucked into the eastern edge of the coastal mountains, just north of San Francisco.  Fresno is toward the southeastern end of the Central Valley.  'Course I could move to the Sebastopol area for a while.  Hmmm.

   Gerald,

             At 51 I know what you mean. I won't even go near a roof unless its part of the job such as an extention and then I'll be sure to call a roofing company supplier that will boom it up for me. As for rock, well same thing...unless its just part of the job but if its over 50 boards I'l sub it out.

   Let me know how your Calif. thing goes and I'll keep you posted if I get my 11 acres. I'll be building in a drop dead gorgous location from scratch......think I'll be living in a 20' tipi while I'm getting dried in. What the heck, might as well make it interesting
