I am looking to change careers, I used to work as a Mechanical Engineer manufacturing batteries and now they are made in China.  I used to build  apartments while I was in collage,  I have built homes, Last summer remodeled a home for my sister that included adding or updating the wiring, refinishing all of the floors, restoring all of the windows, Insulating and sheet rocking the attic.  I have done all types of plumbing from installing a new water heater to large industrial jobs with 12″ PVC.  I currently live north of the twin cities and would like to work with someone that takes pride in their work.  I would like to find a job where I can blend my engineering skills with my building skills.  I can design just about anything, is there a tool that needs to be created.  Any ideas or suggestions for leads.
