Now this is the latest progress to the workshop.
The old clapboards came off and have been replaced by cedar shingles.
Still need to do some trim work, but these pictures show a WHOLE lot of time invested. Not a heck of alot of money though. I tried to rebuild/restore as much of the original as possible.
The barn doors where taken completely apart and repaired, rebuilt and reglued. The original storm windows needed some rework.

Now after I looked at the before of that there workshop I can understand the amount of work you've done. Nice job.....looks like it will make a fine little shop soon.
How did you raise it up? (I take it you had to put some new foundation or footings under)
SJ
*Thanks Steve,Raised it with 2X10's, a chainsaw and 4 railroad jacks! Nailed 2x10's to the studs to tie 4 sides of the structure together...no floor at all!Used a cross member at each corner and jacked the building up about a foot. Once up, selected a a measurement from top plate and sliced the rotted bottom off with the chainsaw. Sistered new studs to all the old. (just in case)She only sits on concrete blocks now...leveled the blocks, built a floor on the blocks and then lowered the building onto the floor.Only took a weekend to get the basics done...the rest has been an ongoing upgrades here and there! It has been an experience for sure.
*Looks great Getch! - Be careful opening those doors or your going to get beaned by a ladder. :-0wchLooks like a fun project. Bob
*Getch:What kind of power do you have back there? I thought Mr.Ed was about to flip open one door and start a show Looking forward to more progress, but why not keep it all in the same thread?
