Would like to verify understanding of window requirements per NYS Building Code

Just would like to verify my understanding of the Building Codes.  If a space is not heated and finished, it is considers NOT to be habitable, and therefore, does not require windows, correct?  I do plan on having more than one egress but I don’t want any windows. Thanks.
